This is a shameless use of my privileged position as blogger to the masses to demonstrate some team spirit! So basically while we await the GFL2 Superbowl this Sunday I'm going dabble in some just-for-fun build-up!
And so it comes to pass that I'm going to give you the top five songs I think could be used as a theme song for the Berlin Rebels. Bit of craic (crack - Irish for fun) right? I mean who doesn't love the odd random fella getting up on a soapbox and telling you all his opinion on something that probably doesn't apply to you at all!? Nobody that's who!

Anyway, there will be a new video post each weekday this week to countdown my top 5. Naturally let's start at the lowest ranking candidate: today at number 5 is Germany's own Rage (not to be confused with the shorthand name for the tediously long-winded rap-funk-metal quartet some might recall: Rage Against The Machine). This here's a pretty decent cover of a cult hit from the just plain tedious Rolling Stones. 'Paint it Black' probably received more notoriety than it should have thanks to Stanley's fine military masterpiece 'Full Metal Jacket', but I think Rage do a damn fine job pepping it up somewhat! I dare you to disagree with me!
The reason it's in the top five would-be Rebel songs is obvious really: we wear black uniforms. Nuff said. Enjoy!
