The winner is Britain's own Billy Idol and one of his two classics, and no it's not 'White Wedding' it is of course 'Rebel Yell'! I think this grabbed the number one spot because it's a happy medium for all; not as heavy as some of the cover versions present in the top five but then not as cheesy as others, just a nice safe classic rock track to get your head bobbing! Plus it's the only song that actually has the word "rebel" in the title so that's a big plus too.
Alright then, that's the end of the countdown of best songs for a potential Rebel Nation anthem. Hopefully it moved you, maybe it excited you, but I'm absolutely certain it's left you wanting 'More, more more!'
